Job summary

Medicare People is seeking Live-in Carers (Self Employed) in Horsham to provide person-centred in-home care. You’ll support personal care, mobility and daily routines, with a flexible placement model and dedicated care management support.

We offer free accommodation, flexible placements, weekly pay from £830, and a pension, training, and 24/7 support. Prior live-in experience is welcome but not essential, and visa sponsorship is not provided.

• Experience providing care or support to others.
• Ability to work independently in a self-employed role.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care within clients' homes.
• Build relationships through companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing and grooming.
• Support mobility and safe moving and handling.
• Prepare meals and encourage nutrition and hydration.
• Administer medication in line with care plans.
• Support light household duties, including cleaning and laundry.
• Run errands such as shopping and collecting prescriptions.
• Monitor wellbeing and report concerns appropriately.
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
• Keep accurate and detailed care records.
• Deliver meaningful one-to-one support that promotes independence.

We are currently recruiting Live-in Carers on a self-employed basis for our introductory care service.
