Job summary
Medicare People are seeking dedicated Live-in Carers in Horsham to provide compassionate, person-centered care in clients' homes. You will support independence, assist with personal care, meals, companionship, and daily routines, while building meaningful relationships with clients and families.
The role offers flexible placements, ongoing support from an experienced care team, and welcoming colleagues. A minimum of 6 months' UK care experience is preferred, with rights to work in the UK; NVQ
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months' professional care experience in the UK.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Medication experience is desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Support clients to remain independent in their own homes.
- Provide person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
- Assist with washing, dressing and personal care.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Help with mobility and daily routines.
- Prepare meals and encourage hydration.
- Administer medication safely and accurately.
- Support with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
- Complete shopping and other essential errands.
- Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns.
- Keep accurate care records.
- Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
