Medicare People Limited is seeking a Live-in Carer (Self Employed) in Crawley to provide high-quality, person-centred care in clients' homes. The role focuses on independence, companionship, personal care, meal support, and medication assistance within flexible placements.

You will work with families and healthcare professionals, ensuring wellbeing, accurate care records, and supportive care management. The opportunity emphasizes flexible scheduling and ongoing support from the care team.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months' experience working in UK care.
• Right to work in the UK is required.
• Health & Social Care qualifications are beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to remain independent in their own homes.
• Provide person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
• Assist with washing, dressing and personal care.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Help with mobility and daily routines.
• Prepare meals and encourage hydration.
• Administer medication safely and accurately.
• Support with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry.
• Complete shopping and other essential errands.
• Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns.
• Keep accurate care records.
• Work closely with families and healthcare professionals.
