Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon – Independent Practice (Full or Part Time)
Near Norwich, Norfolk – Beautiful Coastal Location
Are you a small animal vet looking for your next role in a friendly, supportive, and truly independent practice? We’re excited to advertise a fantastic opportunity with our client with a lovely family-run clinic based in the heart of Norfolk, just 15 miles from Norwich and only 5 miles from the stunning coastline.
About the Practice
This purpose-built practice is well-equipped with state-of-the-art technology including:
• CT scanner
• Laser suite
• Video gastroscope, bronchoscope, and rigid scopes
• Digital imaging, ultrasound, stem cell and platelet therapy equipment
Accredited Gold Cat Friendly and Gold Rabbit Friendly, they place a strong emphasis on both clinical excellence and emotional care for their patients and clients.
About the Role
This is a great opportunity for a vet with some experience looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and collaborative environment. You’ll join a welcoming team who genuinely enjoy working together and are committed to high standards of care.
• Full-time role averages 37 hours/week
• No out-of-hours work (thanks to a newly formed, dedicated night team)
• Day shifts include protected breaks and a good work-life balance
• Flexible part-time and consult-only options available
Caseload:
• A well-balanced mix of routine small animal work
• ~40% exotics/zoo-related cases (including small furries, birds, reptiles, and zoo species)
• No prior exotics experience required – there’s strong internal support and training available
• Alternatively, if exotics aren't your thing, there’s plenty of high-quality small animal work to get stuck into
They’re happy to support vets working towards a certificate, and those with existing qualifications will be encouraged to help develop the practice’s services further.

• A veterinary surgeon with some post-grad experience
• Someone who values teamwork, client care, and a kind, patient-centred approach
• An interest in further training, certification, or developing a clinical niche is welcomed
