Job description

We are a well-established and client-focused law firm with a strong reputation in family law. Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Family Law Fee Earner to join our team.

The Role

You will manage your own caseload of family law matters, providing high-quality legal advice and support to clients. The department deals with a variety of family law matters including divorce and finances, public and private children matter, and domestic abuse matters. You will be expected to handle matters from initial instruction through to conclusion, with appropriate supervision where required. Experience of legal aid is essential, although there is scope to deal with private paying matters.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum [2+] years’ experience in family law (essential)
• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or experienced Paralegal
• Strong knowledge of family law procedures and legislation
• Excellent client care and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a varied family law caseload independently
