Job summary

Kisharon Langdon in North West London is seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to support young people with learning disabilities and autism. This part-time role offers 20 hours per week in a welcoming, supportive setting.

The Youth Worker will deliver informal learning through activities, one-to-one support and group workshops, fostering social development and personal growth in a caring team environment.

Qualifications

• Caring and enthusiastic approach to youth work.
• Experience with children/young adults who have learning, social or physical disabilities.
• Knowledge of safeguarding requirements.
• Experience organising events or coordinating projects (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Deliver youth work projects and programmes that help young people develop personally, socially and educationally.
• Establish positive relationships with all young people to increase confidence and potential.
• Identify educational, social, cultural and recreational needs and plan innovative activity programmes.
• Work as part of a team coordinating engaging activities across different projects.
