Qualifikationen

• Caring and enthusiastic with good communication and sense of humour.
• NVQ Level 2/3 in youth work or equivalent (desirable).
• Experience with children or young adults who have learning, social or physical disabilities.
• Good safeguarding knowledge and awareness.

Aufgaben

• Plan and deliver engaging 1:1 support and group workshops for young people with learning disabilities and autism.
• Deliver specific youth work projects and programmes to develop personal, social and educational skills.
• Establish positive relationships to build confidence and independence.
• Identify needs across educational, social, cultural and recreational areas and plan innovative activities.
