Job summary

Kenyngton Manor Primary School is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support teachers with the development and education of children, including pupils with special needs.

You will be a confident communicator with good interpersonal and listening skills, able to meet pupils' needs for encouragement, reassurance and comfort, and flexible to support across key stages with potential manual handling requirements.

Qualifications

• Assist teachers with development and education of children, including pupils with special needs.
• Deliver and evaluate programmes and adapt teaching materials for individuals and groups.
• Provide 1-1 and group support / intervention and monitor pupil performance under senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher/s in delivering and evaluating programmes and adapting teaching materials to suit the requirements of individual pupils and groups, plus deliver 1-1 and/or group support / intervention and monitor pupil performance under the direction of senior staff.
• Support pupils across the key stages and be flexible to assist with personal care when needed.
