Job description

We have an opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join us at Kenyngton Manor Primary School. You will support teachers with their responsibility for the development and education of children, across the school. This will include pupils with special needs.

A confident communicator, you will have good interpersonal and listening skills, and the ability to meet pupil's needs for encouragement, reassurance and comfort, attending to their personal requirements and physical care. Flexibility to support pupils across the key stages is important. Your day may involve manual handling.

You will assist the teacher/s in delivering and evaluating programmes and adapting teaching materials to suit the requirements of individual pupils and groups, plus deliver 1-1 and/or group support / intervention and monitor pupil performance under the direction of senior staff.
