Job summary

Wallscourt Farm Academy, a two-form entry primary school near Bristol, is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant Level 1 to support children with diverse needs within an inclusive, nurturing environment. Qualifications

• Holds GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent, and is willing to undertake relevant training and qualifications to support ongoing development.

Responsibilities

• Support children within the classroom, in small groups, and on a one-to-one basis, adapting your approach to meet individual learning needs and ensuring all pupils can access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
• Lead interventions, support learners with SEND needs, and help to create positive learning experiences that promote engagement, confidence, wellbeing and measurable improvements in pupil outcomes.
• Work closely with teachers and other colleagues to support the educational, social and emotional development of pupils through delivery of planned learning activities and targeted interventions.
