Job summary

East Kent Colleges Group in Sheerness is seeking an Inclusive Learning Team Leader to manage Learning Support Practitioners and provide safeguarding-focused, holistic support for students at EKC Sheppey College.

You will oversee in-class and out-of-class support, health needs for students with profound medical needs, and ensure effective coordination with schools for smooth transitions. Experience with EHCPs and safeguarding is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEN or care sector and ability to lead a team in a student‑focused environment.
• Support learners with challenging behaviour and SEMH needs using proactive strategies.
• Experience using communication aids such as Makaton, visual prompts and symbol support.
