Job summary

American Marketing Association is seeking Inclusive Learning Pathway Support staff to join one of our partner SEND schools in Northumberland. This role focuses on delivering a therapeutic and holistic curriculum tailored to children with Autism, speech and language difficulties, and complex communication needs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people in SEND settings.
• Ability to work with children with autism, speech and language difficulties, or complex needs.
• Strong observation and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils within the Inclusive Learning Pathway.
• Support children with Autism, speech and language needs, and developmental delays to access learning.
• Assist with sensory-based learning, therapeutic sessions, outdoor activities, Forest School.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, SLT, and on-site therapists to deliver holistic support.
• Contribute to pastoral care and help pupils feel safe and ready to learn.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers.
• Experience in SEND, Autism, SLCN, or complex needs.
• Maintain calm, patient, proactive approach to emotion regulation.
• Show genuine passion for inclusion, wellbeing, and child-centred education.
