Job summary

Seva School is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to help pupils achieve academic, social and personal potential within a values-driven school. The role includes 1:1 and small-group support for SEND, EAL and Pupil Premium pupils, adapting learning strategies and delivering interventions to raise attainment.

The LSA will contribute to PLPs, support progress tracking and help maintain a calm learning environment, while upholding safeguarding and confidentiality at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND and diverse needs.
• Ability to support EAL learners within class and small groups.
• Strong classroom behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
• Experience contributing to Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs) and progress tracking.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support for pupils across subjects.
• Assist with planning, preparation and review of Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs).
• Support pupil progress tracking and data analysis to raise attainment.
• Promote independence, resilience and positive behaviour for learning; supervise classes briefly if needed.
