The Romero Catholic Academy is seeking an HLTA to join the Learning Support team at Cardinal Wiseman School in Coventry. You will provide tailored support to students with SEND, including Sixth Form assistance, and help plan lessons and resources to boost learning outcomes.

Ideal candidates will have SEND experience, strong communication, and a compassionate, proactive approach to students’ academic and emotional development, with a commitment to safeguarding and welfare.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEND or learning needs.
• Excellent communication with students, parents and staff.
• Ability to adapt to different needs and sessions.
• Proactive and compassionate approach to student development.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare.

Responsabilités

• Provide tailored support to students with diverse learning needs.
• Offer targeted support to Sixth Form students to build independent learning skills.
• Assist in planning and preparing lessons and resources.
• Monitor and track student progress, giving feedback and guidance.
