Job summary

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) or similar role is desirable.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience and empathy when working with students with additional needs.
• Willingness to learn and participate in relevant training.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
• Must meet standard UK school safeguarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to students as a Learning Support Assistant (LSA).
• Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
• Help students develop their learning, communication and social skills.
• Monitor and report on student progress to teachers.
• Work closely with teachers, parents and specialists to support individual needs.
