Job summary

South Thames Colleges Group is seeking a Progress Coordinator to develop and manage high-quality, cost-effective support services for learners with disabilities, medical conditions, mental health needs and other vulnerable groups, ensuring they can access the curriculum and achieve their potential.

You will lead a team of Learning Coaches, carry out needs and risk assessments, coordinate tailored interventions, and work with external agencies to improve attendance, retention and progression

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with SEND in post-16 education settings.
• Ability to undertake needs assessments and risk assessments.
• Experience leading or supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage delivery of high-quality, cost-effective learning support services for vulnerable learners.
• Coordinate referrals and interventions, oversee needs and risk assessments.
• Lead a team of Learning Coaches to ensure learners access the curriculum and achieve outcomes.
• Collaborate with external agencies to improve attendance, retention and progression.
