Job summary

The John of Gaunt School in Wiltshire is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to help students across Key Stages 3 and 4 access learning, develop independence and achieve their potential. The role involves providing individual, small-group and classroom support, adapting activities and promoting positive behaviour and resilience.

Start date 01 December 2026. You will work with teachers and the SEND team to monitor progress, deliver targeted interventions and support wellbeing and engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience with safeguarding and maintaining confidentiality.
• Ability to work with students across multiple year groups and adapt activities for inclusivity.
