Job summary

Newcastle College is seeking a Specialist Support Practitioner to help HE students with additional learning needs access campus and curriculum. You will deliver one-to-one or small group support, promote inclusive learning and assist students in navigating academic environments.

This role requires adaptability, strong communication, and a commitment to wellbeing. Evening work and off-site provision are part of the duties within the Newcastle College and NCG community.

Qualifications

• Level 2 English & Maths (or equivalent).
• Flexibility to work evenings and support off-site provision.
• A warm, adaptable, and enthusiastic individual.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality one to one or small group support to HE students with diverse learning needs.
• Support inclusive learning.
• Help students access campus and curriculum.
• Support awareness raising and understanding of access and inclusion.
