Job summary

Newcastle College is seeking a Specialist Support Practitioner to join a passionate team that supports the achievements of students with additional learning needs and disabilities. You will deliver high quality one to one or small group support to HE students with diverse learning needs and help them access campus and curriculum.

The role also involves supporting awareness raising and understanding of access and inclusion, with flexibility to work evenings and off-site provision as needed.

Qualifications

• A warm, adaptable, and enthusiastic individual.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to inclusive education and student wellbeing.
• Level 2 English & Maths (or equivalent).
• Qualified to level 5 or above.
• Flexibility to work evenings and support off-site provision.
