Job summary

Gloucestershire County Council is seeking an experienced leader to manage the WorkWell programme, an innovative health and employment initiative helping people with health conditions and disabilities overcome barriers to work.

As WorkWell Delivery Manager, you will lead a dedicated team, drive performance, build partnerships across Gloucestershire, and ensure residents receive person-centred support that makes a real difference to their lives.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering health or employment programmes or public services.
• Fluent English in spoken and written communication.
• Ability to manage contracts, performance and resources effectively.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-profile service that brings together health, employment, community and voluntary sector partners to support people to stay in work, return to work, or move closer to employment. As WorkWell Delivery Manager, you'll lead a dedicated team, drive performance and quality, build strong partnerships across Gloucestershire, and ensure residents receive person-centred support that makes a real difference to their lives. About you We're looking for someone who can:

• Lead and inspire teams to deliver excellent outcomes
• Build strong relationships across health, local government, VCSE and employment sectors
• Manage contracts, performance and resources effectively
• Use data and insight to drive continuous improvement
• Champion inclusion, innovation and collaborative working

This role would suit someone with experience in employment, health, public service, social care or programme delivery who is passionate about improving outcomes for people facing barriers to work. It is a legal requirement, under the Immigration Act 2016, that anyone appointed to a 'customer facing role' must be able to demonstrate an ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in fluent English.
