Job summary

Powys County Council is seeking a Supported Employment Quality Framework Specialist to deliver personalised support through the Connect to Work Mid Wales programme. You will help people with disabilities, neurodivergence and other barriers identify strengths and secure meaningful paid employment.

Working with participants, employers and partner services, you will provide job coaching, support workplace adjustments and ongoing in-work support across rural North Powys communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in supported employment or job coaching.
• Ability to build strong relationships with participants, employers and partners.
• Strong organisation skills to manage a varied caseload and keep records.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of participants in Connect to Work Mid Wales.
• Develop vocational profiles and personalised action plans.
• Provide practical job coaching with structured approaches.
• Engage employers to identify suitable roles and inclusive recruitment.
• Support applications, interviews and workplace adjustments.
• Provide ongoing in-work support to sustain employment.
