Job summary

Colbern Limited is seeking an experienced Employment Specialist in Newport to support individuals facing barriers to work, using a person-centred approach. You will empower clients to build confidence, develop skills and access meaningful employment opportunities.

You will collaborate with local employers, health professionals, training providers and community organisations to create inclusive pathways into work, while guiding clients through challenges and advocating for their needs.

Qualifications

• Intensive employment focussed mentoring to a caseload with additional barriers.
• Knowledge of employment benefits and welfare reform in Wales.
• Experience with diverse client groups and difficult conversations.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored advice, coaching and advocacy to help individuals overcome barriers.
• Collaborate with local employers, health professionals and providers to create pathways into work.
• Promote social inclusion and wellbeing by supporting meaningful and sustainable employment.
