Job summary

RNN Group is seeking a part-time Lecturer in Inclusive Curriculum for Rotherham College and Dearne Valley College. The role focuses on delivering tailored learning pathways for students facing barriers to education, including SEND and SEMH needs.

You will work within the FLEX Department, using trauma-informed and restorative approaches to re-engage learners and prepare them for post-16 vocational study or employment. Relevant qualifications or willingness to train are required.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching 14-16 learners, EHE students, or alternative education provisions.
• Experience supporting learners with SEND, SEMH needs, or complex barriers to learning.
• Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy (GCSE C/4+ or equivalent).
• A recognised Teaching Qualification or a specialist SEND qualification or be willing to work towards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored learning pathways for students who face barriers to education.
• Use trauma-informed and restorative practices to help learners re-engage with studies.
• Champion inclusive Curriculum initiatives to support progression to post-16 study or career pathways.
