Job summary

RNN Group, in Worksop, seeks a part-time Childcare Lecturer to teach Early Years topics in a temporary contract from Sep 2026 to Jun 2027. The role involves delivering engaging lessons, maintaining student records, and contributing to curriculum development.

Ideal candidates will hold a teaching qualification (or be working towards one), possess relevant subject qualifications, and manage workloads and administrative duties efficiently. Holiday pay applies for hourly assignments.

Qualifications

• Hold a teaching qualification or be working towards one.
• Hold an appropriate level professional qualification in relevant subject specialism.
• Have experience of teaching Childcare/Early Years.
• Be well organised and able to manage your own workload, including administrative functions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Early Years/Childcare lessons as a part-time lecturer.
• Contribute to curriculum design and enhancement.
• Maintain accurate records and assess student progress.
• Collaborate with RES and RNN Group coordinators throughout engagement.

Hours: Part time, 1 x 25 hours per week

Duration: Temporary: September 2026 - June 2027

Salary: £19.62 - £20.59 per hour, plus holiday pay (dependant on Teaching Qualification)
