Leighfield Primary School is seeking a Behaviour and Inclusion Practitioner to support pupils' wellbeing and engagement in learning. You will work with staff, families and external agencies to remove barriers to learning and promote positive behaviour.

This fixed-term, part-time role (22.5 hours/week, term-time plus inset days) runs until August 2027 with a Grade 7 pay scale. The salary is paid annually, and the school offers a supportive environment and opportunities for professional growth.

Formación

• A minimum of three years' relevant experience working with primary-school age children.
• Literacy and numeracy skills equivalent to Level 2.
• A relevant Level 3 qualification, or demonstrable equivalent knowledge and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Supporting the development of an inclusive, nurturing environment in which all pupils experience belonging, safety, equitable opportunity and high ambition.
• Working alongside staff to secure a consistent, relational and inclusive approach to behaviour across the school.
• Developing trusting relationships with children and families, particularly where pupils experience additional barriers to learning, attendance, wellbeing or participation.
• Promoting a proactive approach through early identification, planned support and timely intervention, rather than relying on crisis response
