Job summary

Kirkby High School in Knowsley is seeking teaching assistants to join the Inclusion Faculty. The postholder will work with individuals and small groups with specific educational needs, and training will be provided. Level 2 English/Maths is essential.

The role is 27.5 hours per week during term time, with NJC Grade C/D depending on experience. Temporary until 17 July 2027, funding permitting; on-site parking and a supportive team are available.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification in English and Maths is essential.
• Experience with secondary pupils preferred; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support education by assisting students individually and in small groups.
