Job summary

St John Fisher Catholic Primary School in Knowsley is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work as part of a class team providing 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with additional needs. The contract is terminable when the pupil leaves or EHCP support changes.

The successful candidate will be suitably qualified, dedicated, and able to work on their own initiative and within a team, with experience in managing sensory needs and a commitment to raising standards for the pupil’s development.

• Suitably qualified and committed to supporting learning.
• Experience supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
• Experience and understanding of managing sensory needs of children.
• Committed to raising standards and helping pupils reach potential.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
