Job summary

Justteachers are working with a Bradford based secondary school to appoint an Inclusion Support Worker to work on a full and long-term basis from September 2026.

The role involves providing pastoral support, helping reintegrate students into lessons, and working with staff to implement behaviour and engagement strategies within a values-driven Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people of secondary age.
• Knowledge and experience of Child Protection procedures.
• Ability to forge relationships with challenging students.
• Two school or youth-based references.

Responsibilities

• Provide care, guidance and support to meet the pastoral needs of targeted students.
• Be part of the team which develops interventions to meet the needs of individual students and groups of students.
• Provide behaviour support around the Academy and local community before, during and at the end of the school day.
• Support the reintegration of students back into mainstream lessons, working with teaching colleagues.
• Respond to on-call as part of the team, under the direction of the Inclusion and Intervention Leader.
• Provide in class support for students with behaviour issues and mentor target students.
