Job summary

Kingsway Community Primary School is seeking an inspirational Inclusion Assistant to support learning, wellbeing and emotional needs of pupils aged 4–11. This part-time role (32.5 hours weekly) runs term-time only, with a 39-week contract, mornings 8:30 to 15:30, plus a 30-minute lunch break.

Qualifications

• A Level 3 qualification or equivalent is essential.
• Working towards and experience in a primary school setting is preferred.
• Experience of supporting learning and SEND pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning and achieving outcomes, including intervention groups.
• Liaise with external agencies for advice and support.
• Work with pupils one-to-one and in groups.
• Monitor pupil progress and assess in lessons.
• Adapt resources and environment to meet pupil needs.
