Job summary

Christ the King Voluntary Academy is seeking a dedicated learning support assistant to engage students across all age groups and abilities, promoting inclusion and well-being. The role involves working flexibly with children with varying needs, including SEN and behavioural support, to foster a positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Be engaging and supportive with students across all age groups and abilities.
• Support children with SEN, behavioural and emotional needs.
• Assist with planning, differentiation and intervention strategies.
• Promote well-being and inclusive practice.

Responsibilities

• Be caring and supportive, and committed to achieving excellent results.
• Support the Teachers to enthuse students and progress.
• Assist with planning, differentiation and preparation of intervention strategies.
• Promote the well-being of students and provide guidance and support.
• Establish supportive relationships with pupils and encourage questions and ideas.
• Provide support for leaning activities and monitor their effectiveness.
