Kingsway Community Primary School is seeking an inspirational Inclusion Assistant to support learning, wellbeing and emotional needs of pupils aged 4–11. This part-time role (32.5 hours weekly) runs term-time only, with a 39-week contract, mornings 8:30 to 15:30, plus a 30-minute lunch break.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning and achieving outcomes, including intervention groups.
• Liaise with external agencies for advice and support.
• Work with pupils one-to-one and in groups.
• Monitor pupil progress and assess in lessons.
• Adapt resources and environment to meet pupil needs.

Theday to day role will consist of;

• Supportingpupils with their learning and striving for excellent educational outcomesforall pupils including those with SEND
• Liaise withoutside agencies for advice and support
• Work withpupils on a 1 to 1 and group basis depending on need
• Monitoring progressof pupils and assessing progress in a lesson
• Runningintervention groups
• Communicatingwell with colleagues about pupil progress
• Adaptingresources and the environment to meet the needs of the children
