Job summary

Mytchett Primary & Nursery Academy is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support teachers and pupils on a fixed-term contract until 27 July, during term time including INSET days. The role runs 31.25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 3.15pm.

The role focuses on maintaining a safe, stimulating learning environment, promoting inclusion, and working with colleagues to support children, including those with additional needs.

Qualifications

• Some experience supporting children with additional needs (SEND).
• Enthusiastic and able to motivate children to do their best.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers in providing for education and welfare of all children.
• Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
