Job summary

Dovetail and Slate Limited is seeking a Specialist Tutor for Inclusion to provide tailored teaching and learning support for students needing additional help to access and succeed in their studies. You will adapt delivery to individual needs and help remove barriers to achievement.

You'll collaborate with teaching teams to ensure consistent, inclusive practice, monitor progress, and provide early intervention when needed.

Qualifications

Experience of supporting learners with additional needs or specific learning difficulties.
Ability to adapt teaching and resources to individual requirements.
Strong communication skills and a patient, encouraging approach.
A genuine commitment to inclusive education and learner success.

Responsibilities

Delivering specialist one-to-one and small-group tuition to students with additional learning needs.
Assessing individual learning needs and planning support that helps students access the curriculum.
Developing and adapting resources and strategies to suit a range of learning styles and requirements.
Working alongside teaching and support colleagues to ensure a consistent, inclusive approach.
Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback and early intervention where needed.
