Dovetail and Slate Limited is seeking an experienced Specialist Tutor for Inclusion to deliver tailored teaching and learning support to students with additional needs. You will adapt delivery to individual needs and help remove barriers to achievement.

Working with an established education provider, you’ll collaborate with teaching teams and support staff to ensure every learner receives guidance to progress. The role emphasizes patience, inclusive practice, and ongoing assessment.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting learners with additional needs or specific learning difficulties.
• Ability to adapt teaching and resources to individual requirements.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, encouraging approach.
• Genuine commitment to inclusive education and learner success.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist one-to-one and small-group tuition to students with additional learning needs.
• Assess individual learning needs and plan support that helps students access the curriculum.
• Developing and adapting resources and strategies to suit a range of learning styles and requirements.
• Working alongside teaching and support colleagues to ensure a consistent, inclusive approach.
• Monitoring student progress and providing regular feedback and early intervention where needed.
