Job summary

Dovetail and Slate Limited seeks a Specialist Tutor for Inclusion to provide tailored teaching and learning support to students needing additional help to access and succeed in their studies. You will adapt your delivery to individual needs and help remove barriers to achievement.

You will work closely with students, teaching teams and support staff to ensure every learner receives the guidance required to progress, with a focus on inclusive education and early intervention.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting learners with additional needs or specific learning difficulties.
• Ability to adapt teaching and resources to individual requirements.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, encouraging approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialist one-to-one and small-group tuition to students with additional learning needs.
• Assess learning needs and plan targeted support to access the curriculum.
• Develop and adapt resources and strategies for diverse learning styles.
• Collaborate with teaching and support staff to ensure an inclusive approach.
• Monitor progress and provide regular feedback with early intervention when needed.
