Silsden Primary School is seeking an Inclusion Leader/SENCO to drive inclusive practice across the school. You will lead provision for pupils with SEND and vulnerable groups, ensuring progress and positive outcomes through collaborative working with families and external services.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent classroom practice, and a commitment to high standards across primary phases. NPQ SENCO or willingness to train is expected, with a focus on improving outcomes for all

Qualifications

  • Experience leading inclusion and SENCO responsibilities within a primary school.
  • Minimum 5 years of successful primary teaching across KS1/KS2.
  • Willingness to train and obtain NPQ SENCO if not yet held.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic leadership of Inclusion across the school.
  • Leading provision for pupils with SEND, disadvantaged pupils and vulnerable groups.
  • Monitoring progress, provision and outcomes for vulnerable pupils and those with additional needs.
  • Working collaboratively with families, external agencies and professionals.
  • Leading staff development to strengthen inclusive teaching, adaptive practice and impactful interventions.
  • Contributing to other whole-school improvement priorities as part of the Senior Leadership Team.
