Job summary

Abbey Park Primary School in Pershore is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to lead our Inclusion Room, delivering targeted interventions and supporting children with SEMH needs to develop resilience and confidence. Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs.
• Calm, patient and able to support children who may find school challenging.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Abbey Park Primary School's Inclusion Room to create a calm, engaging and inclusive environment.
• Deliver targeted interventions linked to individual needs and targets.
• Support academic learning with focused interventions to address gaps.
• Collaborate with class teachers, Inclusion Lead and SENDCo to plan and review interventions.
• Plan sessions according to timetable and coordinate with classroom learning.
• Monitor progress and contribute to next steps discussions.
