Job summary

Hartsholme Academy in Lincoln seeks an Enhanced Inclusion & Learning Practitioner to support pupils with SEND within brand-new Mainstream SEND Hubs. The role centers on building trusting relationships, enabling curriculum access and achieving EHCP targets through tailored support.

You will collaborate with the Enhanced Provision Teacher and external professionals to foster independence, resilience and inclusion, while upholding safeguarding and high pastoral care standards across term-time hours.

Qualifications

• GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent in English and Maths.
• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Experience supporting students with SEND.
• Understanding of EHCPs and student goal attainment.

Responsibilities

• Work in Mainstream SEND Hubs to support pupils with communication, interaction and learning needs.
• Develop students' independence, emotional resilience and social skills to meet targets.
• Implement planned activities, observe progress and maintain records for assessment.
• Assist with personal care programmes to promote independence and dignity.
• Adhere to safeguarding policies and report concerns through proper channels.
