Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join an SEN Hub inside a welcoming mainstream primary in Hartlepool. You will support children with a range of SEN, helping them access learning and build confidence in a nurturing setting.

The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, aiding academic, social and emotional development, and close collaboration with teaching staff. A DBS check is required or in process.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting children with SEN desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils with a range of SEN needs.
• Work on a 1:1 basis and with small groups.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Assist in creating a positive, engaging and structured learning environment.
• Collaborate with staff and SEN professionals on learning plans.
