Job summary

South Lincolnshire Academies Trust is seeking an Inclusion Learning Mentor for Spalding Academy. The role focuses on supporting students facing barriers to learning, including behaviour and SEMH needs, in the Inclusion Room. It is not merely supervisory but aimed at improving engagement and outcomes.

DBS checks apply, and the post is permanent. The successful candidate will work 32.5 hours per week over 39 weeks per annum, based in Spalding, with salaries from £23,025 to £27,151 per year.

Responsibilities

• Support the daily operation of the Inclusion Room, ensuring it is calm and structured.
• Supervise students removed from lessons, keeping them engaged in learning.
• Facilitate reflection on behaviour and help students identify improvement strategies.
• Prepare students for successful reintegration into lessons.
• Collaborate with the Inclusion Manager, SENCO, Pastoral team and staff to support targets and intervention plans.
