We are seeking a passionaate and dedicated inclusion Teaching Assistant to join our school. Our Teaching Assistants play a vital role working alongside our class teachers to support our wonderful students to fulfil their potential and to develop their independence skills. You will assist in promoting the learning and personal development of the pupils to whom you are assigned, to enable them to make best use of the educational opportunities available to them, including those with special needs. Supporting pupils with speech and language needs and or physical and sensory needs such as delivering sensory circuits or occupational therapy programmes. Under the guidance of the AHT (Inclusion) and teaching staff, you will utilise your skills to ensure inclusivity. This will be required either individually or in group work as required, in or out of the classroom.
A Teaching Assistant Level 2 may be called upon to provide cover supervision for a group or for a whole class for a session/lesson, this may involve the teaching assistant contributing to the planning, preparation, assessment and reporting.
Perform any reasonable duties as requested by the Headteacher.
Participate in training and other learning activities to develop the competencies to effectively support children and to ensure knowledge and skills are kept up to date.
Attend team and staff meetings.
