Job summary

Coast and Vale Learning Trust is seeking two Inclusion Assistants to join the Inclusion and Wellbeing team in Grimsby. The roles involve supporting students with a range of needs to access learning, promoting wellbeing and engagement, and working with staff to enable participation across the college environment.

Two positions are available: one permanent and one maternity cover (fixed term until 18 June 2027). 36 hours per week, term-time only.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Patience, adaptability and resilience are important attributes.
• Experience with young people or additional support needs is advantageous; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Support students with a range of needs to access learning and participate fully in college life.
• Provide support to individuals and small groups, contributing to interventions and wellbeing activities.
• Assist with exam access arrangements, learner reviews, progress monitoring and family support processes.
