Job summary

Franklin Sixth Form College seeks two Inclusion Assistants to join the Inclusion and Wellbeing team. One permanent and one fixed-term maternity cover position are available.

You will help students with additional needs access learning, build confidence and independence, and engage fully in college life within and beyond the classroom. You will support individuals and groups, contribute to interventions and wellbeing activities, and assist with exams access arrangements, reviews, and family

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patient, adaptable and resilient with a genuine commitment to wellbeing.
• Experience supporting students with additional needs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support students with a range of needs to access learning.
• Work with teaching staff to promote inclusion, attendance and progress.
• Contribute to learner reviews, progress monitoring and wellbeing activities.
• Provide personal care support if required, including mobility, eating and toileting.
• Support students on educational visits and college events.
