Job summary

Franklin Sixth Form College in Grimsby is seeking two Inclusion Assistants to join the Inclusion and Wellbeing team. Two positions are available: one permanent and one maternity cover, both 36 hours per week during term time.

You will support students with a range of needs to access learning, build confidence and independence, and promote positive behaviour and attendance. The role may involve Exam Access Arrangements, learner reviews, and accompanying students on educational visits.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting students with additional needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and families.
• Commitment to inclusion, equality, diversity and student wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals and groups of students to access learning.
• Contribute to targeted interventions and wellbeing activities.
• Support monitoring progress, attendance and achievement.
• Assist with mobility, personal care and basic first aid where trained.
