Job description

Clevedon School is seeking a positive and approachable Inclusion Assistant to join our Student Support Department, which supports students with a range of Special Educations Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to access, achieve and enjoy education and school life. Acting as a key worker, the inclusion assistant will work in partnership with parents, school staff, SENCO and other professionals to deliver personalised student learning to support SEND students.

The successful candidate will advise on suitable teaching and learning strategies to support students, acting as a champion for the child, ensuring their voice is heard and that it informs all planning and practice whilst complying with Safeguarding, Child Protection and Data Protection practices.

Role information:
  • This is a permanent role, working 37 hours a week, Term Time Only + 5 inset days
