Job summary

Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking an enthusiastic Teacher to lead and coordinate support for children with complex needs and challenging behaviours. You will manage a team of inclusion practitioners, deploy resources, and work with schools and partner services to improve attendance and outcomes.

The role requires experience with SEND/SEMH, strong leadership, and the ability to train settings. County-wide travel is expected, as part of a strategic county team.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with passion for education inclusion.
• Experience supporting children with SEND, especially SEMH.
• Experience in management or supervision of support staff.
• Ability to deliver training and advice to settings, often in challenging circumstances.
• Willingness to travel county-wide.

Responsibilities

• Line manages inclusion practitioners and deploys resources for a diverse caseload.
• Liaises with senior leaders in schools and develops training/resources.
• Works strategically with other Access and Inclusion Coordinators in the county team.
• Develops links with schools, families, partner teams and services.
