Job summary

Balfour Beatty plc is recruiting an Incident Support Unit (ISU) Operative Level 0 to join our team on the M25. This role involves initial response to road incidents, hazard clearance and network maintenance under bronze incident command, with duties across cyclic maintenance, street cleansing, and sign and fence repairs.

The role operates on a 4-on, 4-off shift pattern with day and night rosters, and requires travel around the M25 network, participation in winter service rotas and compliance

Qualifications

• UK Driving Licence (Cat C LGV) required.
• CSCS Operative Card required.
• Able to pass security checks, annual driving license checks and drug/alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial response to incidents and arrange specialist advice, acting in bronze incident command capacity.
• Carry out maintenance and repair tasks including cyclical maintenance, carriageway repairs, and sign/fence works.
• Implement Traffic Management in line with CPS policies and industry standards.
• Produce reports and maintain records; perform routine vehicle checks and keep driving records up to date.
• Participate in Winter Service rota and attend required training.
