Job summary

Aldi UK is seeking a Supply Planning Assistant to join the inbound supply chain, working with Supply Chain, Buying, Suppliers, Logistics and Merchandising to meet KPIs and ensure availability across the network.

The role focuses on coordinating with suppliers to optimise planning, monitoring performance against KPIs, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid working with some remote days is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain environments, ideally in planning or supplier management.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain operations, including inbound, production, and distribution.
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound supply by liaising with Supply Chain, Buying, Suppliers, Logistics and Merchandising to meet KPIs and timelines.
• Collaborate with suppliers to optimise production and distribution planning into RDCs to ensure availability.
• Monitor supplier performance against KPIs and align with forecast data for planning.
