Job summary

Abel & Cole is seeking a Grocery Supply Chain Planner to ensure customers receive products when they need them. You will plan and manage stock, forecast demand, monitor availability and support smooth product flow across the supply chain.

The role is based in London with hybrid working: minimum three days in the office per week and regular travel to Andover. Strong numerical skills and collaborative approach are essential.

Responsibilities

• Plan and place purchase orders to ensure product availability when needed.
• Monitor sales trends, forecasts and promotions to manage stock.
• Collaborate with Buyers on category plans and product launches.
• Identify supply risks and take proactive actions to minimise impact.
• Monitor and report on key supply chain metrics and performance.
• Investigate supply issues and coordinate with suppliers on resolutions.
• Support new product launches and data setup across internal systems.
• Work cross-functionally with Buying, Technical, Operations, Finance and Customer Services.
• Build strong supplier relationships and act as a point of contact for supply issues.
• Seek process improvements to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
