Job summary

Arco is seeking an experienced Demand Planner to optimise stock availability and the inventory profile across ~2,500 SKUs from ~100 vendors, driving a £70m annual revenue portfolio. The role is hybrid, with 2/3 days from home and time at our Hull Head Office, delivering robust demand plans and elevating service levels.

You will lead forecasting, collaborate with sales, supply chain and category teams, and influence supplier performance to maintain best-in-class service.

Qualifications

• Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes and systems.
• Good knowledge of inventory management and forecasting principles & logic.
• Comfortable working with and analysing large data sets.
• Large volume SKU management within a distribution environment.

Responsibilities

• Using and maintaining forecast and supply tools to develop robust demand and supply plans for own products.
• Developing a demand forecast for categories and customers at multiple aggregation levels.
• Ensuring forecasts reflect latest market intelligence and historical trends.
• Analyse historical sales trends and reconcile forecast variances to improve accuracy.
• Coordinate resolution of demand/supply imbalances with supply chain, sales and operations.
